Foolishly I stayed on the M1 as the Audi sat nav instructed thinking the Tomtom is having a meltdown.

Tomtom tells me to get off at J28 and take the A34 whilst the Audi satnav says stay on the M1. There are no speed camera locations on the Audi satnav and updating the maps are very expensive.The other important feature is the traffic management alerts are soooooo much better on a Tomtom as Audi uses TMC which basically is rubbish as you'rein the traffic jambefore it tells you that there is one.Example: One late evening, I'm driving down the M1 (from J33) intending to get off J23a (A42/M42) towards Birmingham. I'm not sure how old his Tomtom is but I'mnow on my third one (about a year old) and it is as fast (or faster) than my HD sat nav.Leaving response times to one side, my Tomtom has free lifetime map updates worldwide (every quarter) and free lifetime speed camera locations updates worldwide (monthly). Is there any issues with this gearbox or is it just a matter of ensuring the gearbox oil changed regularly? If this is correct does the gearbox oil need changed every 40k?Thanks in advance for any help or advice you can offer.Cheers Keith I got the build sticker for the Q3 and when I looked it up I see that the car included the following:PRCode: 7Q4 = Preparation for navigation systemDoes this mean that the car is enabled for navigation and only needs the SD card?Also the car has an S Tronic gearbox. Am I correct in thinking that the sat nav is included if it has an MMI radio and it is a matter of getting an SD card and activating the option on the car? If this is correct do I have to activate this through Audi or can VCDS or the hidden green menu?
